WELCOME TO 2008 A new year often brings New Years Resolutions. We decide that we want to (fill in the blank). Unfortunately, we often fall short in meeting those lofty resolutions by the end of January. I've always strived to set goals. The key to success in meeting goals is to set reasonable goals and then work from there. Rather than setting a goal to lose 80 pounds, it's seems more reasonable to me to set a goal to eat healthier this week or to cut back on eating fast food this week. These are goals that are attainable. As I succeed in these goals, I can move forward with setting goals that bring more challenge to me. The key for me is not setting myself up for failure. If you have fallen short on those New Years Resolutions, try setting some sensible goals. Let's strive for success in 2008. One of my goals for 2008 is to work on our website. Our live streaming is a great blessing. Try it - just hit the "Listen Live" box at the top right of the page. The player not only gives you the opportunity to hear WAXR live at your computer, but also gives you the chance to hear our other networks as well as Southern Gospel music or AFR Talk. If you know a Southern Gospel music fan, that link can be a great blessing to them - Southern Gospel music 24 hours a day! I'm also working toward getting the web information updated in a timely manner. Sometimes, that can get overwhelming, especially when you are not the most computer literate person. If you have a gifting toward computer work and would like to be a blessing to us, give me a call. I'd welcome some help in this area. Our online home continues to be a work in progress.
